Description

Introducing the ShockLog 298 Impact Recorder and Data Logger – the ultimate device for monitoring and recording shock, vibration, and environmental conditions experienced by any structure or equipment. Whether in use, in transit, or storage, the ShockLog 298 provides valuable insights into the conditions your product encounters and your carriersā€™ actual handling practices, allowing you to make informed decisions to improve your supply chain.

The ShockLog 298 has advanced features that allow you to monitor your equipment in real time. With the ability to record data for up to 870 events and 262,000-time slots, this innovative device alerts you whenever damage may have occurred so you can respond promptly.

With an option to build a temperature/humidity sensor into the unit or add a temperature/pressure/humidity accessory sensor, you can extend the value of your ShockLog and gain more intelligence about your environmental journey. This feature, combined with the GPS module that records positioning for every event and summary interval via the ShockLog Satellite module and the Tilt and Roll feature that includes a record of tilt and roll data, provides a comprehensive view of the conditions your equipment encounters.

Real-time reporting of unacceptable conditions is also possible, allowing you to take action before the final delivery. With the ShockLog Cellular and ShockLog Satellite solutions, you receive alerts of unacceptable conditions and report alarm conditions to the SpotSee Cloud.

The ShockLog 298 data logger combined with the ShockLog Cellular module provides notifications, location when alarm thresholds are exceeded, and summary information during the journey. If real-time notifications are not needed, condition reports can be transferred from the ShockLog 298 impact recorders to the ShockLog software with a USB connection, or a transport report can be pulled from the unit over the iButtonĀ® interface.

Heavy equipment seems indestructible, but the ShockLog 298 impact recorder records impacts on the X, Y, and Z axes, noting not just the direction of the impact but the amplitude and duration of the impact. This feature allows managers and repair technicians to verify equipment is undamaged and remains in top operating condition, even during shipping or storage.

The ShockLog 298 impact recorder even records temperature, pressure, and humidity, making it an essential tool for any large, heavy equipment industry. With its comprehensive impact data logger, you can pinpoint when potentially damaging events happened and hold the right parties accountable.

So why wait? Invest in the ShockLog 298 today and ensure that your equipment remains in top condition, helping you to optimise operations and minimise downtime.
